TALLEY SJOBERG-VARNEY,
MSW FOUNDER,
CLEARLY SAGE ADVICE & ORGANICS

Talley has been a practicing social worker and counselor since 2001. She brings a wealth of experience to the international education sector, spending 10 years working in Native communities in the United States where she earned the Indian Health Service Commitment to Children Award, and then 13 years with Quality Schools International before opening her private practice in 2020. Originally from the United States, Over the past sixteen years, Talley has lived and worked in the United States, Thailand, Georgia, China and Slovakia and currently resides in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  

 

Talley is an independent educational consultant, as well as a certified employee and management coach. She delivers client solutions across the education, oil and gas as well as diplomatic sectors. Talley is also a clinical aromatherapist and holds the position of Central Asia Director for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and has been published in numerous educational & homeopathic journals. She is a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programs at both Brown University as well as Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital. In addition to utilizing a task-centered and solution-focused practice, she uses these mindfulness strategies with clients of all ages to find more ease in life. 

 

Her focus in presenting to QSI schools in China is to bring the best practices of psychosocial wellness and positive thinking to their lives both professionally and personally.

Wei Li  Global Solution Specialist​

A Global Solution Specialist of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She is also a certified consultant from International Center for Leadership in Education. Wei Li has been a trainer for more than 22 years and she is an experienced presenter and speaker at various events and conferences worldwide.

Wei Li got her Educational Doctorate Degree at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, and She was the only person in 2008 to have won the scholarship sponsored by U.S. Embassy to study Teaching to Young Learners Course in University of Maryland and graduated with an A+.

Wei Li has an in-depth understanding of both China and U.S. curriculum, her recent focus is on K-12 U.S. curriculum including Reading, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies etc.

Inspired by Jimmy Buffett, we're throwing a "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" mixer to kick off our upcoming teacher PD. Come dressed in your best Hawaiian attire and enjoy a delicious light dinner, refreshing beverages, with music and fun.
